Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and favorable payment terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Evaluate supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and recommend improvements or alternative vendors when necessary.
- Collaborate with finance, production, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports, including cost savings, spend analysis, and supplier performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, or Oracle).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of inventory management, contract law, and supplier evaluation.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
