Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end local purchasing processes, from vendor selection to contract finalization.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials/services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and avoid shortages.
- Evaluate supplier performance, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a reliable vendor database.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to align procurement strategies with budgetary and operational requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and optimize procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of inventory management, contract law, and cost analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
