Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials, components, and services required for plastic injection manufacturing.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and emerging materials to enhance procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure budget adherence and cost control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing (plastic injection is a plus).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of inventory management and just-in-time (JIT) purchasing principles.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred.
