Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to meet company objectives and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, prices, and quality for materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to track expenditures and manage budgets.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
- Resolve any supply chain issues or delays proactively to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess supplier performance and cost-saving opportunities.
- Familiarity with contract management and legal aspects of procurement.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is a plus.
