Responsibility
- Manage the procurement process for construction materials, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure the best terms for the company.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to determine material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to prevent project delays.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on reliability, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Resolve any issues related to material shortages, delays, or quality concerns.
- Stay updated on market trends and new materials to recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry standards is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
