Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement.
- Support the purchase order process, including preparation, tracking, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor inventory levels and prevent stockouts or excess.
- Conduct market research to identify new vendors and negotiate favorable terms.
- Help maintain accurate procurement records and update databases with vendor information.
- Assist in contract administration, including reviewing terms and ensuring compliance.
- Participate in supply chain optimization projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, or supply chain logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
