Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and favorable payment terms.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate their reliability, and assess potential risks.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and avoid stockouts.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, logistics, and production, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize disruptions to operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of contract law, purchasing regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
