Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet organizational needs while optimizing costs and quality.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors, ensuring alignment with company standards and ethical sourcing practices.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and avoid stockouts.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier opportunities.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast demand, budget effectively, and reduce procurement-related risks.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and resolve any issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, assess costs, and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, or Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices in supply chain logistics.
