Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking.
- Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and customs authorities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Monitor shipment statuses and proactively resolve any issues or delays to maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery times for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their logistics needs are met efficiently.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and industry trends to ensure compliance and optimize logistics strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, warehouse, and finance, to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a similar role within the transport and logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and tools for shipment tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and government agencies.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages, particularly Bahasa Indonesia, is a plus.
