Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chains and favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to align purchasing activities with demand forecasts.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities, new suppliers, and alternative materials without compromising quality.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including delivery times, cost variances, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize inbound transportation and reduce lead times.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively and implement contingency plans to minimize production delays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Indonesian and international trade regulations is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
