Responsibility

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet company standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the organization.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement of materials.
  • Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance) to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes.
  • Stay updated on market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to enhance decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of local and international sourcing regulations, customs, and trade compliance is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
