Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Ensure all sourced materials and products comply with Halal certification requirements and local/regional regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and Halal certification bodies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess supply.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to verify compliance with quality, ethical, and Halal standards.
- Optimize procurement costs through strategic sourcing, bulk purchasing, and vendor consolidation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to track procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective spending.
- Stay updated on Halal industry trends, certification processes, and supply chain best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or Halal compliance, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Halal certification processes, Islamic dietary laws, and food safety standards.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
- Certification in Halal Assurance or Supply Chain Management is highly advantageous.
