Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material availability.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize supply chain operations.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Manage material requirements planning (MRP) systems to support production schedules.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare reports on inventory turnover, stockouts, and demand variability for management review.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in demand planning and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and inventory optimization techniques.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
