Responsibility
- Assist in daily warehouse operations, including stock-taking, picking, packing, loading, and unloading materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and manual logs.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery notes.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to prevent discrepancies.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and accessibility.
- Assist in resolving logistics-related issues and escalate concerns to the supervisor as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics support.
- Familiarity with WMS software and basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols for handling and storing goods.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20-25 kg (assistance provided for heavier loads).
- Team player with a problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
