Responsibility

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors to secure the best value for the hotel.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing storage and reducing waste.
  • Collaborate with Finance, F&B, and Housekeeping teams to align purchasing decisions with budgetary and operational needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate product quality, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and sustainability practices in all procurement activities.
  • Prepare and present purchase orders, reports, and cost analyses to senior management for decision-making.
  • Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record in vendor negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
