Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors to secure the best value for the hotel.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing storage and reducing waste.
- Collaborate with Finance, F&B, and Housekeeping teams to align purchasing decisions with budgetary and operational needs.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate product quality, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and sustainability practices in all procurement activities.
- Prepare and present purchase orders, reports, and cost analyses to senior management for decision-making.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
