Responsibility
- Negotiate and secure competitive pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory levels.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements to mitigate risks.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a focus on building vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
