Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials, services, and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure reliable supply chain operations.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and operations teams to align procurement activities with budgetary and operational goals.
- Oversee the request-for-proposal (RFP) and bidding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and optimize procurement software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of automotive industry supply chains is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
