Responsibility
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to reduce costs, improve lead times, and enhance supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels and demand forecasting to prevent stockouts or excess inventory, ensuring optimal cash flow.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, conducting due diligence to assess reliability, financial stability, and ethical compliance.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and product teams to align purchasing decisions with budgetary and operational goals.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and industry developments to anticipate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Implement vendor performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international trade laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CIPS certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in retail or consumer products.
- Proven track record of cost reduction, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Familiarity with sustainable sourcing, ethical procurement, and risk management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
