Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to align with company goals and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and ethical standards.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production and operations.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure adherence to quality and service standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and financial reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage teams and supplier relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
