Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to source high-quality goods and services at competitive prices for hospitality operations.
- Negotiate contracts with approved vendors, ensuring favorable terms, delivery schedules, and compliance with company policies.
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, storing, and distribution of inventory, maintaining accurate records and minimizing waste.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with finance teams to process payments and reconcile procurement expenses with budgets.
- Ensure adherence to sustainability and ethical sourcing standards in alignment with industry best practices.
- Lead cross-departmental coordination to forecast demand and align purchasing with operational needs.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively and maintain contingency plans for critical items.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality or tourism sector.
- Proven track record of vendor negotiation and contract management with a focus on cost reduction.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and sustainability certifications.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
