Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of baristas, ensuring high standards of coffee preparation and customer service.
- Oversee daily café operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills in brewing techniques, latte art, and customer engagement.
- Monitor quality control for all coffee and food offerings, adhering to brand standards and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus, promotional campaigns, and loyalty programs.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally to maintain a positive café experience.
- Optimize workflow efficiency to reduce wait times and improve operational productivity.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, new brewing methods, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Expertise in espresso preparation, manual brewing (e.g., V60, Chemex), and latte art.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, and flavor pairing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and motivate staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in coffee (e.g., SCA Barista Skills) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
