Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure cost-effective sourcing of flavourings and raw materials.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to forecast demand and align procurement with business needs.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices in all procurement activities.
- Lead inventory management initiatives to optimize stock levels and minimize waste or shortages.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, budget adherence, and supplier KPIs to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on flavourings, food ingredients, or FMCG.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software is a plus.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing in the food industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
