Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and kitchen supplies.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost fluctuations to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with the Central Kitchen team to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and prevent stockouts or excess supply.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Streamline procurement processes by leveraging ERP or inventory management systems to track orders, deliveries, and expenditures.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively and implement contingency plans to minimize operational downtime.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, cost savings, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the food manufacturing, hospitality, or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost reductions and service improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), or procurement software.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles, demand forecasting, and just-in-time (JIT) procurement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO 22000) and sustainable sourcing practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
