Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize costs and ensure supply chain efficiency for automotive and logistics operations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, finance, operations) to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing excess or shortages while reducing carrying costs.
- Lead procurement analytics, reporting, and KPI tracking to measure performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in automotive, manufacturing, or logistics procurement (experience with Carsome or similar platforms is a plus).
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-driven approach.
