Responsibility
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues to maintain quality and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, spending, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and payment terms.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Support the implementation of procurement software and tools to streamline processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics, inventory management, and contract law.
- Ability to work mid-shift hours and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are a plus.
