Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet business objectives and reduce costs.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and assess product quality and pricing.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and sales teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (for Manager role) or 1-2 years (for Assistant role).
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of retail industry trends, inventory management, and logistics.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
