Responsibility
- Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, equipment, and supplies from approved vendors while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and trucking providers to arrange timely deliveries and resolve any logistical issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement just-in-time procurement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Process purchase orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to align purchasing activities with operational demands and production schedules.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate pricing trends, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, PhilGEPS guidelines (if applicable), and local/regional procurement regulations.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, spending analysis, and supplier performance metrics for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics, preferably in manufacturing or sports equipment industries.
- Familiarity with PhilGEPS, ERP systems, or inventory management software is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to track orders, shipments, and inventory accurately.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a bonus.
