Responsibility
- Manage daily purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing orders.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet operational demands and minimize excess stock.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory transactions, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing and inventory activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier interactions.
