Responsibility
- Process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, confirm orders, and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and update procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and inventory logs.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Prepare and distribute procurement reports to management, highlighting cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating their reliability, pricing, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance) to align procurement with operational needs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role (manufacturing industry preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Familiarity with inventory management and basic accounting principles.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
