Responsibility
- Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of goods from international suppliers.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and sales demands while minimizing excess stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, delays, or quality issues, ensuring smooth operations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile records to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and supplier performance to management.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement processes and resolve supply chain issues.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are advantageous.
