Responsibility
- Lead and oversee surveying operations for clients on the East Coast of Malaysia, ensuring adherence to international and local regulations.
- Conduct detailed inspections, audits, and assessments of manufacturing facilities, transport infrastructure, and logistics operations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation, highlighting findings, recommendations, and compliance status.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, quality assurance specialists, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior surveyors and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement surveying protocols, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to maintain Bureau Veritasâ leadership in the field.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Surveying, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in conducting inspections and audits within manufacturing, transport, or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ISO, API, etc.) and local regulations pertinent to the East Coast of Malaysia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using surveying tools, software, and technologies to gather and analyze data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites on the East Coast of Malaysia, with the flexibility to work remotely from Bali.
