Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet company needs while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Manage and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring reliable supply chains and timely deliveries.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to align purchasing activities with business goals.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
- Prepare and analyze purchase orders, invoices, and expenditure reports to track budget adherence.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions and escalate issues to management with actionable solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management, demand forecasting, and lean procurement principles is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
