Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules to ensure timely procurement and inventory replenishment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess supply.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier opportunities.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., finance, logistics, production) to align purchasing activities with business needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
