Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet organizational procurement needs.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing costs.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate existing ones for performance and reliability.
- Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations) to align procurement with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements in ERP systems.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions and escalate issues to management as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of logistics and manufacturing industry trends is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are advantageous.
