Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Oversee inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Utilize SAP systems for procurement, inventory tracking, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, finance) to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Prepare and analyze purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in an MNC or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SAP MM or SAP ERP is a must.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with distributors and supplier networks in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS) and demand forecasting.
