Responsibility
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Process and track purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and avoid stockouts.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to streamline procurement processes and reduce lead times.
- Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities in the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to build vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make cost-effective decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing documentation and deadlines.
- Familiarity with supply chain best practices, contract management, and inventory control.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
