Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for chemicals, spare parts, and plant consumables to meet operational demands.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and avoid stockouts.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers without compromising quality.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and production teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure reliability and service excellence.
- Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiations, cost reduction, and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with incoterms, logistics, and import/export regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
