Responsibility
- Manage and oversee daily import and export logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics processes and resolve any issues.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Provide training and support to logistics staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or international trade environment.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems, WMS, and TMS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
