Responsibility
- Process and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., production, finance) to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor and follow up on shipment statuses, resolving delays or discrepancies proactively.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Maintain and update procurement records, including vendor databases and inventory tracking systems.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate existing ones for performance and reliability.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules and avoid disruptions.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipping routes and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Familiarity with incoterms, shipping documentation, and customs regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
