Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of raw materials and components.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Evaluate supplier performance, conduct audits, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to streamline procurement workflows.
- Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, deliveries, and supplier communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in manufacturing).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost analysis, and supplier evaluation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with precision manufacturing standards is a plus.
