Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and materials.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance to secure the best terms and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with production and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align procurement and inventory processes with company goals and budgets.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancements in procurement and inventory workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, and optimizing inventory levels.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
