Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and packaging components to meet production demands.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure timely procurement.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements and budget allocations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and conduct regular performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven track record in negotiation, vendor management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of metal packaging materials, industry trends, and global sourcing practices is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
