Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for industrial materials, electronics components, and project-specific requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, logistics) to align procurement activities with project timelines.
- Monitor market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend alternative sourcing strategies.
- Oversee purchase order processing, delivery schedules, and inventory management to prevent supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, budget forecasts, and cost analysis to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in EMS, electronics, or industrial sectors.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international sourcing practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
