Responsibility
- Manage the full cycle of procurement, including sourcing, vendor negotiation, and purchase order processing.
- Maintain and nurture strong, professional relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Ensure accuracy in all shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bill of lading.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure optimal stock control.
- Resolve logistics issues, supply delays, or quality discrepancies promptly and independently.
- Liaise with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Prepare regular procurement reports and data analysis to support management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics roles.
- Proven ability to negotiate terms and manage vendor performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
