Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and alternative sourcing options.
- Maintain and update procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and vendor performance metrics.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure timely payments and budget adherence.
- Assist in the evaluation of supplier proposals and prepare comparative cost analyses.
- Support the implementation of procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles (fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
