Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company protocols.
- Oversee laboratory testing processes to verify product quality and safety.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities, including audit reports and test results.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in quality assurance or food safety is a plus.
