Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements while mitigating risks.
- Manage supplier relationships, conducting regular performance reviews and addressing any supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry innovations to recommend improvements in procurement strategies.
- Oversee the purchase order process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, expenditures, and supplier communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a similar industry.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with international procurement standards, import/export regulations, and risk management.
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
