Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services to support production and operational needs.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and update vendor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile invoices and resolve payment issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is a must.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
