Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in industrial machinery, PLC systems, motors, and control panels.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical components, wiring, and connections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by quickly resolving equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical systems or upgrades in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, PPE usage, and electrical safety standards.
- Assist in training junior technicians and providing technical support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including three-phase motors, transformers, VFD (Variable Frequency Drives), and PLCs.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Certification in electrical safety (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
