Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals to achieve operational excellence in the Cables Commodity supply chain.
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless material flow and inventory management.
- Drive supplier relationship management, including negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, quality issues, and cost fluctuations.
- Implement lean and agile supply chain practices to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain metrics to senior management.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring timely and cost-effective material availability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing supply chain operations for manufacturing or technology industries.
- Strong expertise in supplier management, procurement, and logistics.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain analytics tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
